Up for sale is a terrific electric guitar from Slammer by Hamer ... the WG-1 !
WG most likely stands for Wolfgang, as in Eddie Van Halen's EVH or Peavey Wolfgang !
And this is an amazing copy of the Wolfgang ..... if you can find one!
It plays really well without any additional set up! I imagine this axe would also play and sound even better with a brand new string change, which we will leave up to the lucky buyer. So they can replace the strings with their favorite brand, if they so choose.
Speaking of sonic and tonal quality, I am so impressed with how this instrument sounds! I don't really think you have to switch out pickups to upgrade unless you just HAVE to tinker with it !!!!
It's got that SUSTAIN and those multiple order harmonics that Eddie loves and raves so much about !
I play this guitar through a Mooer Hornet modelling amp, also for sale here on Pricetronic .... and it can definitely fool you into the Mooer sounding like a tube amp, IMHO !
If you needed to change anything, maybe the tuners could be upgraded ... but even they do an admirable job!
And the made in Indonesia neck, like most, is just superb !
So grab this hard to find gem now for much less than a real EVH or Peavey Wolfgang! But you STILL might worry about losing it at a gig ... as it is so good !
