AXL SRO BADWATER STRAT- DISTRESSED & RELIC'ED/ANTIQUED. SUPER COOL- MINT COND! . Awesome 2008 AXL SRO BADWATER distressed & crackled strat style guitar w/ EMG Designed Alnico pickups. The guitar has a really cool three dimensional feel and look to it- you can actually feel all the simulated cracks and wear on the guitar, it's professionally done stock...came this way from AXL, this is not a homemade deal. The build quality and playability and sound of this guitar is very good. I would say at least up there with the nicer Squier classic vibe series This has a full size alder body and the shape is, I would say a cross between a fender Strat and an Ibanez RG but it has most of the rounded contours of a Stratocaster- very comfortable guitar, has real nice chime and quack and the EMG designed AXL pickups will play anything from blues to Classic Rock to all out metal with ease. This guitar is in mint unplayed condition- it plays, looks, and sounds fabulous. These are pretty rare these days and the build quality is just superb. Very nice playing neck with a slight bit of flame and the distressing finish on this guitar is absolutely stunning. The copper distressed hardware really sets off the vibe of this awesome hard to find guitar in mint condition! It has been restrung and intonated with D'addario 9-42 nickel wounds.
